Distinguished members of Weppa Wanno Pyramid Club of Nigeria, on behalf of the National Executive Committee of our great club, I bring you fraternal greetings and felicitation as we celebrate our gracious and triumphant entry into the new year 2024. A few days ago, precisely the 25th of December 2023, I had the good fortune of being elected by you in a unanimous voice vote the 9th President of our great club, a gesture I cherish and hold dear for which I will work tirelessly to justify the confidence you have graciously reposed in me and my team.

Although this is coming as a new year message, I cannot help seizing the opportunity to share with you very briefly my thoughts on the direction we are headed as a club under my watch in the next two years. We intend to improve on the visibility of the WWPCN brand within and outside Weppa and Uwanno Clans. The club will be repositioned to serve as a veritable vehicle for facilitating the progress and development of Weppa and Uwanno. This in my honest opinion is our raison d’etre. The focus will be to directly impact the lives of our people particularly at the grass roots. I am convinced that as a club we are able to mobilize resources to actualize our desire in this connection. In the months and years ahead we shall be drawing on your goodwill and massive support towards delivering on some specific projects details of which will be released later.

On the home front, the welfare of members will be given priority consideration. We shall innovatively improve on the welfare package without significantly increasing the welfare levy. With the huge investment so far made on the club house, I believe it would be a waste if we do not put it to more productive use. This will be given expedited action. We are looking to introduce inter chapter competition to facilitate healthy rivalry and deepen our bonds as one large indivisible family. Details of this will be worked out and shared with members in due course.

Distinguished members of our great club, I do not intend to bore you with any more details as the days ahead will provide better opportunities to speak more specifically to the above and other programs of this administration. Suffice it so say that WWPCN is in safe hands.

We give all glory to God for counting us worthy to be part of the new year 2024. It is my prayer that the almighty God will guide and guard us and our families through this year. He will bless the works of our hands and make us a blessing to our people. I wish you all a happy and prosperous New year.
