Victor Dakpokpo, FCA is a Fellow of the prestigious Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) with over 20 years of combined professional work experience in Taxation, Business Consulting, Accounting, Financial Reporting, International Funds Management, Mentoring and Leadership. He is currently the Tax Manager of TotalEnergies Upstream Companies in Nigeria saddled with the responsibility to manage the fiscal planning and tax obligations of the company to all relevant stakeholders in Nigeria.  He represented Africa as a Supervisory Board member of both the TotalEnergies Actionnariat International Capitalisation Fund and the TotalEnergies International Capital Fund in France from 2018 to 2020.  These funds are savings and mutual fund investment reserved for employees of TotalEnergies in 130 countries.

Outside his regular job as Tax Manger at TotalEnergies, he is a founding member and current board member of both Weppa Wanno Pyramid Multipurpose Cooperative Society Limited and Usagbe Multipurpose Cooperative Limited.  Victor was also a board member of TotalEnergies EP Nigeria Staff Multipurpose Cooperative Society Limited from 2010 to 2014.

Victor Dakpokpo, FCA obtained a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria Nigeria, in 2002. He qualified as a certified Chartered Accountant in 2008 and became an Associate member of ICAN, the biggest professional accounting body in Nigeria.  Following his contribution to the growth of taxation, accounting, and finance practice in Nigeria, he was awarded a Fellow of ICAN in 2020.

Victor loves to mentor young people, traveling, networking, playing chess, football among other hobbies. He is happily married to his beautiful wife Iyesomi, and they are blessed with 4 daughters.
